Unit 3

 This blog post will consist of all of my pieces from Unit 3 of SUPA Writing 105!

Unit 3 for SUPA was all about argumentative writing, and my first piece(Again just me answering questions but it still counts I guess) I was real and raw and asked for help;

My next piece was something that honestly I wrote on the fly and I am quite proud with how it came out;

Third is my rough draft for my final paper, and I was confident in this paper and loved writing it;

And lastly for Unit 3 is my final argumentative paper, and yes I will admit it looks a lot like my rough draft, but I was confident in my piece and when that confidence kicks in, so do the good grades;

Unit 3 I feel was probably my best unit yet, I enjoyed the writing for this unit and everything just flowed once I started with it. But until the next post,

Two Op-Docs

 Two Op-Docs. At first I didn't know what an Op-Doc was. The New York Times created Op-Docs as a series of short documentaries from solo film makers to Oscar winners. After browsing The New York Times Op-Doc page with 5 seasons (ranging from season 1 from 2011 to season 5 in 2020). There is a little bit of everything for everyone with these Op-Docs. The first Op-Doc I watched was Solo, Piano-N.Y.C by Anthony Sherin. Now when I first clicked on this video I never would have thought I would be so attached to a piano on a sidewalk in New York City. Another reason why I enjoyed this video so much was because it wasn't your normal video. It was a person behind a camera taking pictures of everything that happened to the piano. With this video it shows how people can come together over the simplest things.(In this case our piano) It was really heart warming watching normal people, strangers even better at that walk past this piano and play it, from the simplest notes to people standin...

Mentor Blog

  My mentor blog. For this blog I looked at three other blogs to kind of get the feel of how to do this. This is my first one though so lets hope it'll be okay. Every blog I read I will post the link down at the bottom so if any of them find interest to you, you'll have easy access! The first blog I read was 5E Inquiry Cycle Example(Distance Learning Version)  posted on October 2, 2020 written by Ramsey Musallam on his blog called, Cycles of Learning . Coming across Musallam's blog I found it interesting seeing some tricks and pointers for virtual learning as he is a full time science teacher. His 5E inquiry cycle example is a five step process of how he teaches his ZOOM classes. His 5E's consist of (in order of steps) engage, explore, explain, extend, and evaluate.
